Climb Every Mountain

Travel is something a lot people enjoy, myself included. Just recently, I went to the White Mountains with my boyfriend for our anniversary. We saw and did so much, and the scenery was breathtaking. The highlight of the trip is hard to pinpoint, but I think it is when we climbed a waterfall near the flume at the Pamigewasett River. Fun fact: the name for this river comes from the Abenaki people, it was their word for "where the side current is". Unfortunately, this language is now considered endangered, with small groups of people speaking it all over New England. It truly fulfilled my desire for adventure and action during our trip. The weather was misty, and our time in the White Mountain National Forest was enhanced by that. It added to the experience of being near water, sheltered by mighty, ancient trees, and at one point, the rain pockets poured so hard we had to stop.

Without further ado, here are some photos I snapped during our time there. I hope you all enjoy!
