It's been a little while since my last blog entry, but so much has gone on, it's been hard to keep up. Sometimes being busy is a good thing, and in this case, it's no exception.
For my first update, I am officially going to be a published author! This is something that has been in the works since about 2016/2017, where I started writing a manuscript. It went on the back burner after I graduated from university and entered the "real world", and about 2-3 years ago, I tore it apart and rewrote huge chunks of it to reflect my growth over time. Just a few weeks ago, I felt it was finally time to see Stones in the Glade: The Old Craft in a New World in print and shared with the entire world.
My first-ever release is coming from Crossed Crow Books, and it is a witchcraft book written from my experience as a practitioner in New England for about 15 years. I'm truly proud of my work, and though I thought I'd never see the day that it gets accepted by a publisher, it has happened.
With my becoming a published author, I will be going by Kelley Towne. This is a name I've adopted as I enter this new phase in my life and Craft. Thus, this is the name I will also go by when it has to do with Realm of Spirit.
Lastly, I will be returning to Modern Magic Salem to teach Under the Mound: The Fae Folk, their Lore & their Worlds on August 20 at 2pm EST. If you happen to be in Salem, feel free to drop by and join me in this exciting hour of discovering the Fae Folk, their origins, and how to navigate working with them in your practice. Experience some of nature's most ancient spirits like you've never seen them before! Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at their official website.
That is all for now - in the meantime, I am sincerely grateful for your support over the years. I would not be here to share such wonderful news if it were not for you. So, thank you!
